We use at the office Word 97.
I sent a message to this newsgroup a while ago, I received two answers and
it did not resolve the problem.
I have more info now. When a secretary transfers a file to another
secretary in the office, the width of the columns is not the same. The
first secretary has let's say a widts of 5 and when the second secretary
opens the file, she cannot see the figures unless she widen the file.
As we have many files and many columns, it takes a long time.
How come Excel does not keep the same width from a computer to another? We
have looked everywhere, the two computers have the same driver, the same
resolution of the monitor, etc.
Does someone have an idea why and where we have to look to rectify this?
The width has to remain as it was originally as we transfer files from one
secretary to others.
Thanks for any help in this matter!
