I cannot find the greek letter delta (in capital, looks like a triangle) in

the Insert-Symbol menu of excel. There is one that is there when you change

the font to symbol. But when u refer this cell in another cell, the

formatting is lost and the delta appears as D....

eg. I insert the symbol in cell A1 and then refer to it in cell B1 as a

formula (=A1). If I use any symbols from the non-symbol fonts, the formating

is retained in the new cell. I cannot also find a code for this character in

the ASCII codes (eg. Alt + 230) etc.

Can anyone help me out here please.

Thanks
