I have a server that supports a small company that makes natural foods. The
e-mail currently serves the corporate site, and everything is running ok.
The company has about 15 sub-brands, and is just about finished with creating
a web site for each of them. They want them all to have their own
"Identity", as the marketing folks say. This means they need to have an
e-mail address of "in…@subbrand.com" for each of the sub-brands. This
e-mail will always go to a single person at the corporate site. (Poor
thing). It doesn't matter if the response comes from the corporate customer
service person.
I've never setup multiple domains in Exchange, and I'm not sure if that's
what I need to be doing, BUT...
My plan is this:
In Recipient Policies, create a new SMTP Email Address policy, such as
'@subbrand.com' for each subbrand, telling it not to create a new address for
everyone in the domain.
Go to the poor Customer Service persons profile in ADUC, and add an email
address of 'in…@subbrand.com' for each sub brand.
What am I missing?
Thanks in advance.
