Hey guys,
I'm in a uni dorm room, and i've got a mac as well as a PC connected through
the same router to the same network with the same firewall rules.
The problem is Outlook is unable to connect to the exchange server, i get
various errors like 'this action could not be completed. the connection to
the Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable. Outlook must be online or
connected to complete this action' - But, Microsoft Entourage on the mac CAN
connect fine, and work perfectly.
I've attempted to setup the RPC over HTTP Proxy thing, which kinda works - i
get to a point where i can login, it accepts my login, and then finally dies
with the same error. Looking at the Peerguardian logs, i can see that it
still tries to connect to port 135 on the server (which uni's policy
explicitally blocks, and cant be unblocked by me).
Can anyone help? - Its a single exchange server, and i'm only running it to
try and learn about exchange :)
