I have installed a 3 active / 1 passive node Exchange 2003 cluster.
Currently there are no users on it. We have our physical disks configured on
a backend SAN. Each active node has a physical disk resource for logs and a
second for the Stores.
Our SAN team has decided that they need to reconfigure the SAN for the log
partitions, decreasing the amount of physical space. What do I have to do
from an Exchange / cluster perspective?
Using ESM, I have moved the logs and mailroot off of the partition, but I
then noticed that each partition has a folder containing the cluster
configuration files. I didn't see a way to move the folder ( it is created
when the system attendant resource is created ), so I copied it and then took
the EVS offline.
What problems shou8ld I expect when the SAN work it finished? I'm hoping
that the physical disk resource will still be seen, etc. and I will be able
to copy the cluster config files back to the disk if needed before I try and
bring everything on line. If not, then I believe I can remove the system
attendant resource and then recreate it to bring in the configuration from
active directory.
Any input is appreciated.
