Hoping some one can help me on this.

I have one windows 2003 domain controller and one windows 2003 Additional
domain controller. After I configure the exchange 2003 on separate box I
noticed every thing is perfectly installed and it was running fine. After
some time I noticed that my exchange 2003 is not communicating with the
domain controller properly and it throws me an error"

LDAP Bind was unsuccessful on directory Servername.domainname.com for
distinguished name ''. Directory returned error:[0x51] Server Down"

But I can ping my domain controller and able to access the network resources
from exchange 2003 computer. After getting the error I had to restart the
exchange 2003 and after restarting the exchange server it is working fine, it
is happening very frequently and restarting. In a day I am restarting the
exchange 2003 computer at least 10 to 12 times. Even I am not able to connect
ADUC.

Since it is not able to connect to the domain controller so I am just
planning to configure the exchange 2003 as windows Additional domain
controller.

Can it be possible to configure as additional domain controller so that it
can resolve the problem.

Looking forward for assistance.

Best Regards
Andrew
