I have a friend that has a web site being developed by a web hosting
company and they are telling him that because they are hosting his web
site they also have to manage his DNS records.
His domain is registered with NetSol so he is using their DNS servers.
He has the www.... enrty pointing to the IP that the web hosting
company gave him for his web server.
It resolves to the home page, and other links on the site, but
sometimes the links will go back to NetSol as that is the default
Is the web hosting company correct in saying that they must manage his
DNS as well?
