What does "iisreset" - with no switches specified - from the command line
actually do? What happens to existing sessions and pending requests?

Could it be considered to be "dangerous" to run iisreset (with no switches
specified) from the command line on a production Web server? If so, why?
does it immediately blow away any/all sessions on all Web sites on the
current server?

I'm using Windows Server 2003 R2 (IIS6), with many Web sites and
applications (> 10) installed on the server. It runs on the company
intranet.

Thanks!
