Should Client for Microsoft Networks and File and Printer Sharing for
Microsoft Networks be unbound from the NIC on Internet-facing web servers?
If your firewall rules allow only port 80 and 443 inbound to the web
servers, perhaps it can be argued that Client for Microsoft Networks and
File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks should remain bound to the
NIC the internal admins can access the admin shares on the web server from
internally, also, backup utilities such as Veritas can run.
