Had to recently lock down our wksta's tighter and part of that was the
internet lockdown zones. I have a end-user who has a access database file
they need to access. The file is stored both in their home directory and in
their profile. Both of these are on network drives that are mapped to the
user account. When she tries to open the file the exact message she receives
Microsft Access cannot open this file.
This file is located outside your intranet or on an untrusted site.
Microsoft Access will not open the file due to potential security problems.
To open the file, copy it to your machine or an accessible network location.
I should also mention users do not have write access to the system volume.
