Hello, after going through the specifications of both the protocols, I feel
that for SSL it the the server which has the final say on what gets picked as
the cipher of the session while for ssh it is the first intersecting cipher
present on both, the client's as well as the server's algo list. Effectively
giving the client, complete control on what eventually gets selected as the
cipher for the session. Would that be correct ?
