Is there any way, natively or via plugins, to get VS to "refresh" a solution
I downloaded a large (okay huge) solution from Codeplex a while ago just to
play with it. It gets rebuilt and updated every day by many contributors,
and I'd love to know if there's some way I could just click a button and get
VS to automatically download any changed files and refresh the sources on my
It's a major PITA to have to grab it from CodePlex, save it, unzip it and
overwrite the old sources myself and it feels like something that someone
would've written a utility for by now.
I've Googled but to no avail. I've even searched Codeplex to see if anyone
on Codeplex has written a Codeplex project to download Codeplex projects
from Codeplex (whew!).
So is there anything out there I could use? (Awaits someone saying "duh,
it's built in to VS, just click this and this").
