How do I reset the environment in which a web site is running, so that I
reset the application variables?
I set some application variables in the global.asax file that run at
application start. I notice that when I am testing the application or
debugging, it doesn't seem to be resetting this value. I wonder if there is
some sort of cache that Visual Studio 2008 uses to retain this? And if so,
is there a method to deliberately cause it to rebuild this cached
application information, thus resetting.
Or, maybe it does get reset when I close the Cassini web server page, in
which case I'll look elsewhere for the cause of the behaviour I notice.
