Hello-

Here is an issue we are having.  Parent/Child multi-domain model with
Windows 2000 and 2003 Server.  Based on the error there is an Active
Directory schema mismatch.  Errors:

<snip>

Event Type: Warning
Event Source: NTDS Replication
Event Category: Replication
Event ID: 1203
Date:  6/9/2006
Time:  9:18:51 AM
User:  NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON
Computer: ChildDC-2003 Server
Description:
The local domain controller could not replicate the following object
from the source domain controller at the following network address
because of an Active Directory schema mismatch.

Object:
CN=Child2,CN=Servers,CN=child2domain,CN=Administrative
Groups,CN=ExchangeOrgName,CN=Microsoft
Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=crhomg,DC=com
Network address:
e9957cf2-7d60-4a0c-8a3e-167f7d9d251a._msdcs.crhomg.com

Active Directory will attempt to synchronize the schema before
attempting to synchronize the following directory partition.
Directory partition:
CN=Configuration,DC=Parent,DC=com

Description:
Replication of Naming Context CN=Configuration,DC=Parent,DC=com from
source e9957cf2-7d60-4a0c-8a3e-167f7d9d251a has been aborted.
Replication requires consistent schema but last attempt to sync the
schema had failed. It is crucial that schema replication functions
properly. See previous errors for more diagnostics. If this issue
persists, please contact Microsoft Product Support Services for
assistance. Error 8418: The replication operation failed because of a
schema mismatch between the servers involved..

I ran net diag/dc diag replmon and repadmin - I am seeing that the USN
of the CHILD in replmon is HIGHER than the USN at the parent.  However,
replication is still working between the parent and child.  Parent:
2000 - Child 2003  - all running latest service packs and fixes.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Chris
