You are the problem, you aren't specifying the RootDN aka BASE of the
query when you run the command. You are depending on CSVDE to read your
mind on what you want and it can't. When you query a DC with CSVDE if
you don't specify the BASE it defaults to the default NC of the DC (as
indicated in the program usage). Do when you point it at a DC for the
domain child.domain.com, it will dump child.domain.com objects. If you
point to a DC for domain.com it will dump domain.com and
child.domain.com objects.
