We have a Win2k3 Server with SP1 that was originally setup as a domain
controller.  We removed AD and are seeing some errors showing up in the Event
Logs (Application Log):

Event ID 1030:
Source:  Userenv
Windows cannot query for the list of Group Policy objects. Check the event
log for possible messages previously logged by the policy engine that
describes the reason for this.

Windows cannot access the file gpt.ini for GPO
CN={990868D4-77AE-458E-8B45-E3003478B318},CN=Policies,CN=System,DC=accordhr,DC=com.
The file must be present at the location
<\\accordhr.com\SysVol\accordhr.com\Policies\{990868D4-77AE-458E-8B45-E3003478B318}\gpt.ini>.
(The system cannot find the path specified. ). Group Policy processing
aborted.

All of the KB articles I've found refer to systems still running AD and the
resolution is to obtain the latest service pack (which this system has).

Any way to manually get rid of this Group Policy stuff?
