We have several apps that use LDAP for authentication. They all point to
domaincontroller.domain.com. This works fine excpet in the event that the
domain conroller is down for whatever reason. I was under the impression
that you could use domain.com to do LDAP. When the apps pointto domain.com
for their LDAP the apps fail.
Do you have to supply a domain controller for LDAP or can you just use the
domain name? Is there any other way to achieve some sort of redundancy?
