|Subject:||System State Backup?|

I would like to upgrade a Windows 2000 Server (which is our domain
controller) to a new Windows 2003 Server R2. Can I run a Adprep on our
existing DC from the 2nd 2003 R2 CD? Then run a System State Backup to our
tape backup system. Then restore the Backup on our new server. Will this
move all AD information? Because of printer and software programs I'd like
to keep our server name the same. We're a school network that have 300+
client machines that have many local links pointing to our old server name.
Thanks for any help.
