Hey guys and gals,
I am getting reports that at least the XP DST patch should be WSUS-able at
some point. Current rumor is that it's a WSUS rollup, but I have that enabled
for all technologies, and nothing is coming through when I do a search for
all updates, modified any time, with any approval.
Has this DST patch been released to WSUS, is this a Microsoft Update (which
I hear does not traverse WSUS), or is this something that in essence must be
installed by throwing it into kixstart or user login batch files via
<PATCHNAME> /quiet in the script?
I am manually updating my server to prevent any pager time at 3AM, but
manual updates to XP, on top manual updates to Outlook and Exchange, is
making All Work and No Play Makes Jack a Dull Boy.
Is there no way to update DST patches through WSUS yet? Will there be?
If not, that's fine, I just need to plan the winscript way as the DST is
right around the corner.
Thanks in advance as always!
