I cannot browse via My Network Places, Microsoft Windows Network into
anywhere. I see my domain only, no other workgroups and when I double click
my domain I get the error: "Amador (my server name) is not accesssible. You
might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the
administrator of this server to finkd out if you have access permissions.
The list of servers for this workgroup is not currently available." The
computer browser service is started - but I get exactly the same error if I
stop it. This is the DC that is holding the operations master roles for the
domain. The other domain controller and other servers and workstations seem
to be browsing ok. DNS seems ok - I can ping other servers by name. However
I can not search for other computers by name or ip address if they are in
another subnet. My WINS server on this server cannot communicate with other
wins servers - I assume that is an effect, not a cause. Any ideas out there?
