Hi,
I just hooked up an external USB hard drive to a 2000 Server.
My issue is that it shut off yesterday, I know that there are power
management
selections that can control this but that all looks fine, I went to the
Device Manager
and made sure that it wasn't selected to shut off after being idle. The
drive it self
seems to be functioning just fine. I'm using the NT backup to backup at
night, I formatted
the hard drive, I can see it in Windows Explorer etc... Is there something I
could be missing?
I have SP4 with all the updates and it's an 80GB USB 2.0 external hard
drive.
Thanks Craig
