Hi,
We have a dc with a single-label domain name, but the appropriate gpo
settings for this situation are set in its gpos.
Today I wanted to join a member server to it but the member server
complains that it cannot contact the domain controller.
I can ping mydc.mydomain but I cannot ping only mydc.
The dc have had a power outage recently, could that be causing a problem
in its dns or something?
What is the proper way to troubleshoot this problem?
