For the hardware problem, choose a new mouse. Make sure you use the latest
drivers for all hardware also.
For the "not available on the network" describe more detailed what your problem
is, seeing them via network neighbourhood, accessing via RDC, opening shared
Also post an unedited ipconfig /all from them and client machine and describe
your network setup, router, switches etc.
