I got a question concerning the implementation of the DFS feature of Windows
Server 2003 R2.
I got a Windows Server 2003 domain with several domain controllers. The AD
schmema is extended to 2003 R2.
Now I want to implement a new File Server running on Windows Server 2003 R2
which replicates with a File Server in a branch office also running on
Windows Server 2003 R2.
When I set up a domain based namespace on the new files server, do all of my
domain controllers including the one holding the PDC Emulator role have to
be on the R2 release of Windows Server 2003 to work with the new dfs
features or is it enough when my File Servers running DFS are on the R2
Thanks for an answer !
