I have a single IBM server running Windows SBS 2003. I am unable to boot to
the OS. I see the Windows logo appear and then POOOF it reboots itselt.
I am able to boot to the option "Boot Mirror C: - secondary plex"
When I called IBM they said one of the drives went bad (but the support rep
couldn't tell me which one.) If this is true, I am guessing drive 0.
Please take a look at my boot.ini file
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Windows Server 2003 for Small
Business Server" /fastdetect
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(1)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Boot Mirror C: - secondary
How can I successfully replace the drive? I think the computer is booted to
drive 1 but it's not redundant. Am I correct?
From what I can see, the RAID is setup in SOFTWARE instead of Hardware. Do I
need to break the raid and take out drive 0?
Do I need to edit the boot.ini file?
